Why I Built GetSentimate

I didn't start GetSentimate because I wanted to build another SaaS.
I built it because I was tired of guessing.

The Problem I Faced as a Creator

As a creator, every upload came with hundreds — sometimes thousands — of comments. Some were supportive. Some were brutally negative. Some were "helpful" but buried deep. Most were just noise.

I tried reading them manually.
I tried skimming.
I tried ignoring them.

None of it worked.

I could feel that important signals were hidden inside the chaos, but I had no clear way to extract them. I didn't want vanity metrics. I didn't want "positive vs negative" counts.

I wanted answers to real questions:

  • Why are people reacting this way?
  • What exactly are they liking or hating?
  • What should I change in my next video?
  • Who is actually watching my content?

And I realized — most creators were in the same place.

YouTube gives you numbers. Not understanding.

Likes. Views. Retention.

But it doesn't give you understanding.

Comments are the rawest form of audience feedback — unfiltered, emotional, honest. Yet they're impossible to analyze at scale. Reading 1,000 comments doesn't make you smarter. It just makes you tired.

As a creator:

  • I missed patterns because they were spread across hundreds of comments
  • I focused on loud negativity instead of meaningful feedback
  • I made content decisions based on intuition, not insight

The worst part? I knew my audience was telling me something important — I just couldn't hear it clearly.

That gap between feedback and clarity is what hurt the most.

My Vision for GetSentimate

GetSentimate is not a "sentiment tool."

It's a thinking tool for creators.

My vision is simple:

Help creators understand why their audience feels the way they do — and what to do about it.

Not just:

"Your comments are 62% positive"

But:

  • What topics are triggering reactions
  • What type of viewers you're attracting
  • Which criticisms actually matter
  • What actions will improve your next upload

I want GetSentimate to feel like: A smart assistant that reads every comment for you — calmly, objectively, without emotion — and tells you the truth.

No guesswork.
No noise.
No chasing algorithms blindly.

Who GetSentimate Is For

GetSentimate is for creators who:

Actually care about their audience

Want to improve, not just grow numbers

Are tired of drowning in comments

Believe feedback is a competitive advantage

Whether you have 1,000 subscribers or 1 million

If you read comments and think "there's something important here" — GetSentimate is built for you.

Why This Matters to Me

I'm building GetSentimate because I use it myself.

Every feature exists because I personally felt the pain of not having it.
Every insight exists because I needed it first.

My goal isn't to help creators go viral.
My goal is to help creators get better.

Because creators who understand their audience don't burn out.
They don't chase trends blindly.
They build something that lasts.

This Is Just the Beginning

GetSentimate is still early.

But the mission is long-term:

Better creator decisions

Healthier feedback loops

Less emotional burnout

More clarity, less noise
